Big Bennie is truly magical!
Your shade fabric is designed by me, using my own photography I photographed the base and top of Ben Nevis, Scotland. Merging elements of the environment at the foot of the mountain, to a very different one at the top. Scotland and its mountains offer so many awe-inspiring views and visiting Ben Nevis is an amazing experience that most mountaineers, walkers, climbers and hikers alike, would certainly agree.
I enjoyed designing this fabric, which almost looks Celtic in the way it connects and flows. Using a midnight blue background, give the fabric that richness and depth of colour, complimented with the golden autumnal colours, of the adjacent fields at the foot of Nevis.
Specifications:
Internal shade fitting: UK, Europe: The shade fits the standard bayonet cap (BC) and also with Edison Screw (E27) lamp holders (remove the converter plug in the centre of the fitting). US & Canada: unless otherwise stated, washer fittings (1/2" ring) will be used, for lamps that use a harp or vertical rod system.
Fabric design: The placement of the design, at the seam, may vary. This is because they are handmade and come in varying sizes, but will be set as 25cm high so to retain the scale of the design.

Made to order, upon receiving payment. **Leave up to 10 to 14 working days, which will include your fabric to be printed and posted to me, your lampshade to be handmade and then on its merry way to you. **Of course your lampshade could be with you between 2-3 working days, if fabric and shade rings already in stock.**Overseas delivery may take longer than 14 working days, dependent on where you live.

I never felt so humbled, as I did, when reaching the top of Ben Nevis. This mountain was far greater than my mind could take. I felt utterly at peace, inhaling the most spectacular views.
I was fortunate enough to see a cloud inversion, as it was clear at the top. Beautiful blanket of snow capping the tip of dark rock against, white clouds (need to go back there!). The environment from down below, was such a contrast with it's very autumnal colours of coppers, golds and green, which, when starting my climb, was in the field adjacent to the base of Nevis.
For myself and most people, Big Bennie is one of the most truly magical places and for the very reason I had to add a design to the collection.
